Overview
What is conversion rate optimization?
Conversion rate optimization (CRO) is the practice of increasing the share of visitors who buy, book or enquire by finding what stops them and testing fixes. It works on the traffic you already pay for, so a higher conversion rate lowers your cost per lead or sale across every channel. Noorscale runs CRO as a cycle: analytics, recordings, surveys and interviews feed a ranked backlog of hypotheses, and each change is A/B tested with its sample size set before launch.

What does a CRO program look like when it's working?
It looks like the live sample below, built with illustrative data. Your version runs on your own accounts and your numbers.

Hypothesis
Recordings show most quote-form exits happen at the budget and timeline fields. Cutting the form to three fields will raise quote requests without hurting lead quality.

What problems does a CRO program solve?
It solves the three problems teams raise most often on a first call, and each one has a fix.
The problem
- “Traffic is up, but leads and sales are flat”More visitors haven't meant more revenue. Something on the page or in the funnel is stopping people, and guessing at fixes hasn't found it.
- “We ran A/B tests and nothing ever won”Tests stopped early, sized too small or focused on button colors produce noise. Without research behind each hypothesis, a testing program burns traffic and time.
- “Nobody can tell us where people drop off”Analytics shows where people leave, not why. Without funnel tracking, recordings and customer feedback, every redesign is a guess with a budget attached.
What changes
- More conversions, same ad spendRaising the share of visitors who act means more leads or orders without buying more traffic.
- Lower cost per acquisitionEvery channel gets cheaper per customer when the site converts better, so budgets stretch further.
- Revenue you can attributeEach winning test is measured against a control, so you know which change earned which result.
- Fewer expensive redesign betsTesting changes on live traffic replaces big-bang redesigns with steady, measured improvements.

What's included
What does a CRO program include?
A CRO program includes six deliverables, each one working material your team can use, not a slide deck.
Scope · Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)6 deliverables
- 01
Conversion research audit
Funnel analysis in GA4, heatmaps and session recordings, on-site surveys and customer interviews, summarized as a ranked list of conversion barriers.
- 02
Prioritized hypothesis backlog
Every test idea written as a hypothesis, tied to research evidence and scored for impact, confidence and effort, so the strongest ideas run first.
- 03
Test plans with sample sizes
Primary metric, minimum detectable effect, sample size and run time calculated before launch, so tests stop on evidence, not impatience.
- 04
A/B test builds and QA
Variants designed and coded in your testing tool, checked across browsers and devices, and monitored for sample ratio mismatch.
- 05
Direct fixes for obvious friction
Broken forms, hidden delivery costs and slow pages are fixed straight away instead of tested, because some problems just need fixing.
- 06
Monthly results report
Results with confidence intervals, what each test taught us about your buyers and the next tests queued from the backlog.

Reporting
How will you know a CRO program is working?
You'll see it in four numbers on a live dashboard, with a written review every month. Leading indicators come first, then the numbers your finance team cares about.
Monthly reportSample
- Conversion rate by segmentHigher is better
Primary conversion rate split by device, traffic source and new versus returning visitors.
- Revenue or leads per visitorHigher is better
Value per session, so a test that lifts sign-ups but cuts order value doesn't count as a win.
- Test velocity and win rateHigher is better
Tests launched per month and the share that reach a significant result, reported honestly.

FAQ
Questions about Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Something else on your mind? Email grow@noorscale.com and a person will reply within one business day.
How much do conversion rate optimization services cost?
CRO runs as a monthly program, priced from your traffic, the number of tests we can run at once and how much design and development each test needs. You get a fixed monthly fee in writing after a free call. Testing tools such as VWO, Optimizely or Convert are separate subscriptions billed to you directly.
How long until CRO shows results?
Research and the first quick fixes land in month one, and the first A/B tests usually go live in weeks 4–6. Each test runs until it reaches its planned sample size, often two to four weeks, so meaningful learning builds over the first quarter.
Is CRO better than buying more traffic?
CRO and traffic work together. Raising your conversion rate lowers cost per lead or sale across every channel, so every click you pay for works harder. If a site converts poorly, scaling paid traffic mostly scales the waste.
How much traffic do we need for A/B testing?
You need enough conversions to reach a valid sample size within a few weeks, which depends on your current conversion rate and the size of change you want to detect. Pages with only a few dozen conversions a month rarely support reliable tests. In that case we focus on research and direct fixes instead of testing.
What do you test first?
The ideas with the strongest evidence and the most traffic behind them, usually on high-intent pages such as pricing, product, checkout or the main lead form. Each idea in the backlog is scored for impact, confidence and effort, so the first tests are the ones most likely to move revenue.
What happens if a test loses?
You've avoided shipping a change that would have cost you money, and you've learned something about your buyers. Losing and flat results are documented and feed the next hypotheses. Win rates are reported honestly, not cherry-picked.
Will A/B testing slow down our site or hurt SEO?
Your site speed and SEO stay intact when testing is set up properly. We keep test scripts light, avoid visible flicker, limit how long tests run and follow Google's guidance on testing, such as canonical tags on redirect variants. Winning variants are then built into the site and the test code is removed.
Do you fix problems as well as test them?
Yes, clear bugs and obvious friction, such as broken forms, hidden delivery costs or slow pages, are fixed directly because they don't need a test to prove them. Testing is saved for questions where the answer isn't obvious.
Can you run CRO on a healthcare or treatment center site?
Yes, with privacy controls in place. Heatmap and recording tools must mask form fields and stay off pages where patients enter health information, and no health data goes to testing or ad platforms. Tests focus on the admissions path, such as call clicks, insurance verification forms and page clarity.
