Overview

What is Google Ads management?

Google Ads management is the ongoing work of structuring, bidding, writing and measuring a business's Search, Performance Max, Shopping and Demand Gen campaigns so ad spend turns into qualified leads and sales. The difference between a managed account and a busy one is the signal underneath it. We verify conversions against your CRM, send qualified leads and closed deals back to Google, and prune search terms every week, so Smart Bidding optimizes toward buyers and you see cost per qualified lead and revenue by campaign instead of clicks.

Sound familiar?

What problems does a Google Ads engagement solve?

It solves the three problems teams raise most often on a first call, and each one has a fix.

The problem

  • “Google says we converted. Sales says otherwise”Form fills counted twice, page views logged as leads, phone calls missing. When conversion data is wrong, Smart Bidding gets very good at finding more of the wrong people, and your reported cost per lead looks better than the real one.
  • “Performance Max takes credit and won't show its work”Branded searches and returning customers get claimed as new wins. Without brand exclusions, channel reporting and a clean split from Search, PMax can look profitable while adding little you wouldn't have had anyway.
  • “Our search terms report is full of people who'll never buy”Broad match pulls in job seekers, DIYers, students and researchers. Without weekly negative keyword work, a steady slice of budget pays for clicks that were never going to become revenue.

What changes

  • Lower cost per qualified leadBudget stops paying for junk searches and double-counted conversions, so the same spend produces more leads your sales team actually accepts.
  • Bidding that learns from revenueQualified leads and closed deals flow back from your CRM, so Google optimizes toward the customers you want instead of the cheapest form fill.
  • Revenue you can trace by campaignEvery campaign is reported against pipeline and revenue from your CRM or store, so budget decisions start from what paid back.
  • Growth without a hidden efficiency billBudget only moves up where cost per acquisition holds as spend rises, so scaling doesn't quietly undo the gains.

What's included

What does a Google Ads engagement include?

A Google Ads engagement includes six deliverables, each one working material your team can use, not a slide deck.

Scope · Google Ads Management6 deliverables

  1. 01

    Conversion tracking audit and repair

GA4, Tag Manager and every Google Ads conversion action checked against CRM records. Duplicates removed, primary goals set and enhanced conversions switched on, so bidding learns from real outcomes.

  2. 02

    CRM offline conversion import

Qualified leads, booked appointments and closed deals sent back to Google Ads with their value, so Smart Bidding can tell a buyer from a browser.

  3. 03

Account rebuild by intent and margin

Search, Performance Max, Shopping and Demand Gen organized by what each product or service earns, with brand and non-brand split so reporting stays honest.

  4. 04

Weekly search term and negative keyword review

Every search term reviewed each week, shared negative lists maintained and brand exclusions applied in Performance Max, so spend stays on people ready to buy.

  5. 05

    Ad and landing page testing

Responsive search ad headlines, assets and landing page variants tested one variable at a time, with winners kept and every result logged so learning compounds.

  6. 06

    Weekly revenue report

Spend, cost per qualified lead, customer acquisition cost and revenue by campaign, compared with your CRM so you can see where Google's numbers and reality disagree.

Process

How long does a Google Ads engagement take?

The work runs in four steps, starting in weeks 1–2 and continuing from month 4 onward. Every step ends with something you can use, so you always know what's landed and what comes next.

Time to first results: Clean read in 4–8 weeks

  1. Step 01Weeks 1–2

    Audit and repair tracking

We audit structure, search terms and conversion actions, fix tags, switch on enhanced conversions and connect your CRM. Obvious waste is cut in the first week.

You get: Verified conversion tracking connected to your CRM

  2. Step 02Weeks 3–4

    Rebuild around intent

Campaigns restructured by intent and margin, negative lists applied and budgets reset. Smart Bidding gets time to relearn on clean conversion data.

You get: Restructured account with negative lists applied

  3. Step 03Months 2–3

    Test and tighten

Ads, landing pages, bid strategies and audience signals tested one variable at a time, with search terms reviewed every week throughout.

You get: Test log with winning ads and pages kept

  4. Step 04Month 4 onward

    Scale what pays back

Budget moves to campaigns that hold their cost per acquisition as spend rises. New keywords, Shopping or Demand Gen are added only when the numbers support it.

You get: Budget moved to campaigns that pay back

Reporting

How will you know a Google Ads engagement is working?

You'll see it in four numbers on a live dashboard, with a written review every month. Leading indicators come first, then the numbers your finance team cares about.

FAQ

Questions about Google Ads Management

Something else on your mind? Email grow@noorscale.com and a person will reply within one business day.

How much does Google Ads management cost?

It depends on your spend, the number of campaigns and how much tracking repair the account needs, so we quote after a free call. Our management fee is separate from your ad spend, which Google bills to you directly. You get a written scope with deliverables, timeline and fee before anything starts.

How long until our Google Ads results improve?

Wasted spend usually drops in the first two weeks, because negative keywords and tracking fixes take effect immediately. A clean read on cost per qualified lead takes four to eight weeks, once Smart Bidding has relearned on accurate data. Anyone promising transformed results in 30 days is guessing.

Why is our cost per lead going up on Google Ads?

Usually one of three things: conversion tracking that has drifted, broad match pulling in irrelevant searches, or more competitors bidding on the same terms. We check the search terms report and conversion actions first, because those are the causes you can fix this week. Auction pressure is real, but it's rarely the whole story.

Is Performance Max worth it?

Yes, when the account has steady conversion volume, a clean feed or asset set and brand exclusions in place. Without them, PMax tends to claim branded searches and returning customers as new wins. We run it alongside high-intent Search and judge it on incremental revenue, not the ROAS it reports about itself.

Should we manage Google Ads ourselves or hire an agency?

Self-managing works if someone has a few focused hours every week for search terms, tests and tracking checks. Most founders and generalist marketers don't, and Google's automated recommendations tend to push budgets up and match types broader. We run the account for you and log every change, so you can bring it in-house later.

Can you take over our account without losing its history?

Yes, without losing any of it. We work inside your existing Google Ads account, so its conversion history, audiences and learning stay intact, and you keep admin ownership throughout. We restructure in stages rather than rebuilding from scratch, so performance doesn't reset.

Can Google Ads report on revenue, not just leads?

Yes, if your CRM records which leads became customers and what they were worth. We capture the click ID at form submission and send qualified leads and closed deals back to Google through offline conversion import. That lets Google bid toward revenue and lets you see revenue by campaign.

Can you run Google Ads for addiction treatment and healthcare?

Yes, with the right certification and setup. Google requires addiction treatment advertisers to hold LegitScript certification where its policy applies, and it restricts personalized ads based on health conditions, so campaigns are built on search intent rather than remarketing. We keep protected health information out of every tag and track admissions through your CRM instead.

What do you need from us to get started?

Admin access to Google Ads, GA4 and Tag Manager, read access to your CRM, and an hour with whoever knows what a good lead looks like. That conversation decides what we count as a conversion. Everything after that, from the audit to the restructure plan, we handle.
