Overview
What is website design and development?
Website design and development is the work of planning, designing, coding and launching a website, from page structure and copy to the CMS, hosting and analytics. Done well, it produces a site that loads fast on phones, answers buyers' questions in the order they ask them and makes the next step obvious. Noorscale handles strategy, design and build in one team, picks the platform that fits how you work, and launches with redirects, structured data and lead tracking in place.

What problems does a website build solve?
It solves the three problems teams raise most often on a first call, and each one has a fix.
The problem
- “Our website gets visits but almost no enquiries”Visitors land, scroll and leave because the page doesn't answer their question or show them what to do next. The traffic isn't the problem. The path from first visit to booked call is.
- “It's slow on phones and looks dated next to competitors”Heavy themes, oversized images and stacked scripts push load times past what mobile buyers will wait for. A dated look then costs you trust before anyone reads a word.
- “Every small change needs a developer”Updating a headline or adding a service page becomes a ticket and a week's wait, so the site drifts out of date and campaigns launch without the pages they need.
What changes
- More enquiries from current trafficClear paths from every page to a call, quote or booking mean more of the visitors you already get turn into leads.
- Faster pages, fewer lost visitorsPages that load quickly on mobile keep buyers reading instead of hitting back, and help paid campaigns convert too.
- Ready to rank from launchClean structure, structured data and complete redirects let search engines and AI assistants read the site from day one.
- Pages shipped without developersYour marketers publish and update pages themselves, so campaigns and new services launch without waiting in a queue.

FAQ
Questions about Website Design & Development
Something else on your mind? Email grow@noorscale.com and a person will reply within one business day.
How much does a new website cost?
It depends on the number of page templates, integrations such as booking or CRM, how much copy we write and whether there's a migration. We price from a written scope after a free call, as a fixed fee, so the number doesn't move unless the scope does. Care plans for updates and new pages are a separate monthly option.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most marketing websites launch in 8–12 weeks from kickoff. The date depends more on how quickly content and feedback arrive than on the code. You get a dated plan in week one showing which decisions are due when.
Which platform will you build our website on?
We recommend the platform after discovery, based on who edits the site, how many pages you'll publish and what it has to connect to. Most service businesses are best served by WordPress with a custom block theme, while larger or fast-growing sites often suit Next.js with a headless CMS. Online stores usually belong on Shopify.
Will a new website get us more leads?
Yes, when the website is the bottleneck. We find where visitors drop off on your current site, then design each page around the questions buyers ask and one clear next step. Leads are tracked by page from launch, so you can see what changed instead of taking our word for it.
Is a template or page builder good enough instead of a custom site?
Yes, for a new business testing an idea on a small budget. Once search and paid traffic matter, page builders tend to add heavy scripts and markup that slow pages and make structured data harder to control. A custom build costs more up front but avoids paying for a rebuild a year or two later.
Can you redesign our website without losing Google rankings?
Yes, when the move is planned properly. We crawl the old site, map every URL to a 301 redirect, carry over titles, structured data and internal links, then monitor Search Console after launch. Missing redirects and dropped content cause most post-launch losses, and both are preventable.
Do you write the website copy?
Yes, we can write it or edit what you have. Copy is drafted alongside the design, built from sales calls, reviews and the questions buyers search, so layouts fit real words instead of placeholder text. You approve every page before it goes live.
Is our website legally required to be accessible?
Yes, in many places. Accessibility laws in a growing number of jurisdictions apply to business websites, and most point to the WCAG standard. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and test with keyboards and screen readers, but we aren't lawyers, so confirm your obligations with counsel.
Can our team update the website after launch?
Yes, that's planned from the first wireframe. Editors get page blocks they can rearrange, with guardrails so the design doesn't break, plus a recorded walkthrough of every common task. You publish a test page yourself during handover, before we call the project done.
Do you build HIPAA-aware websites for healthcare providers?
Yes, for clinics and behavioral health providers. Intake forms send data only to tools that sign a Business Associate Agreement, tracking pixels stay off pages where patients share health information, and the setup is documented for your compliance team. Full compliance also depends on your own policies, so we work alongside your privacy officer.
