Overview
What are motion graphics and 3D animation?
Motion graphics and 3D animation are designed, animated visuals, from kinetic type and illustrated explainers to photoreal 3D product renders, used to show what live footage can't. They make complex software, invisible processes and unreleased products easy to grasp in seconds. Noorscale builds each piece around one message, storyboards it before animating, and delivers versions for your website, ads, product UI and sales decks.

What problems does a motion graphics project solve?
It solves the three problems teams raise most often on a first call, and each one has a fix.
The problem
- “Nobody understands our product from a screenshot”Complex software, invisible processes and technical features get lost in static images. Prospects leave before they grasp what the product does.
- “We can't film a product that isn't made yet”Pre-launch hardware and CAD-only designs can't be photographed, but the launch page, crowdfunding campaign and pitch deck need visuals now.
- “Our brand looks static next to competitors”Flat logo, flat website, flat ads. Without a motion system, every animated asset is designed from scratch and none of them look related.
What changes
- Value understood in secondsOne clear animated story replaces paragraphs of explanation, so buyers get the point before they scroll on.
- More demo requests from the pageA focused explainer gives landing page visitors the confidence to book, and we measure the page before and after.
- Launch visuals before the product exists3D renders from CAD files let you sell, pitch and take pre-orders while manufacturing catches up.
- A motion system your team reusesTemplates, transitions and type styles that keep every future video on-brand without starting from scratch.

What's included
What does a motion graphics project include?
A motion graphics project includes six deliverables, each one working material your team can use, not a slide deck.
Scope · Motion Graphics & 3D Animation6 deliverables
- 01
Script and storyboard
A tight script and frame-by-frame storyboard, approved before animation starts, so changes happen on paper rather than in render time.
- 02
Animated explainer
Explainers in 2D or 3D with voiceover, sound design and captions, plus short cutdowns for ads and social.
- 03
3D product renders
Photoreal stills and turntable animations built from CAD files or reference photos, modeled, lit and rendered in Blender or Cinema 4D.
- 04
Animated ads
Short motion ads built for the first three seconds, with kinetic type, product moments and a clear call to action in every format.
- 05
UI and product animation
Product walkthroughs and interface micro-interactions, delivered as video or as Lottie and Rive files your developers can ship.
- 06
Logo animation and motion kit
Animated logo, transitions, lower thirds and type styles packaged as templates your editors can reuse in Premiere Pro or After Effects.

Process
How long does a motion graphics project take?
The work runs in four steps, starting in week 1 and finishing in week 6. Every step ends with something you can use, so you always know what's landed and what comes next.
Time to first results: Style frames in 2 weeks
Step 01Week 1
Brief and script
We define the one message, audience and placements, gather brand and product assets, and write the script for approval.
You get: Approved script and core message
Step 02Week 2
Storyboard and style frames
Key frames show the look, color and type before motion starts. You approve the direction once, which keeps revisions small.
You get: Approved storyboard and style frames
Step 03Weeks 3–5
Animation and sound
We build the animation, record or source voiceover, add sound design, and share work-in-progress cuts for feedback.
You get: Work-in-progress cuts with voiceover and sound
Step 04Week 6
Delivery and cutdowns
Final masters, cutdowns, reusable templates and project files on request, organized for your team to use.

Reporting
How will you know a motion graphics project is working?
You'll see it in four numbers on a live dashboard, with a written review every month. Leading indicators come first, then the numbers your finance team cares about.
Monthly reportSample
- Explainer watch-through rateHigher is better
How much of the video visitors watch on your site and channels, which shows where the story loses them.
- Landing page conversion rateHigher is better
Sign-ups or demo requests on pages with the animation, compared with the same page before it went live.
- Ad hook rateHigher is better
Three-second view rate on animated ad cutdowns, compared with your live-action and static ads.
- Template and asset reuseHigher is better
How often your team reuses motion templates and renders, a practical measure of the system's value.

Engagement
How is a motion graphics project scoped and priced?
Pricing is shared after the free call, in a written scope with deliverables, timeline and fee. Never a package, never a surprise.

Ongoing work against a 90-day plan, for channels that compound month over month.
- Monthly report and strategy call
- Priorities reset every quarter
- No long lock-in
- Typical for this service
Fixed-scope project
A defined scope, timeline and fee for builds, audits, migrations and launches.
Usually: Fixed-price project

FAQ
Questions about Motion Graphics & 3D Animation
Something else on your mind? Email grow@noorscale.com and a person will reply within one business day.
How much do motion graphics and 3D animation cost?
Every animation project is fixed-price, quoted from a written scope after a free call. A logo sting or short animated ad sits at the small end. Full explainers and photoreal 3D renders cost more because of scripting, modeling and render time.
How long does an animated explainer take?
A typical explainer takes four to six weeks: about two weeks for script and storyboard, then two to four weeks of animation and sound. Logo animations and short ad cutdowns can be done in one to two weeks.
Should we choose 2D motion graphics or 3D animation?
Choose 2D for explaining software, processes and abstract ideas, since it's faster to make and cheaper to revise. Choose 3D when the physical product is the hero, such as hardware, packaging or devices, or when you need renders before the product exists. A hybrid, with 3D product shots inside a 2D explainer, often covers both jobs.
How long should an explainer video be?
As short as the one message allows, usually 60 to 90 seconds for a homepage or sales explainer. Ads and social cutdowns work best at 6 to 30 seconds with the point made in the first three. We script to the placement, not to a target length.
Can you work from our CAD files?
Yes, we work from common CAD and 3D formats such as STEP, FBX and OBJ, converting them for Cinema 4D or Blender where needed. Engineering models often need cleanup before they render well, and we include that in the scope. Physical samples or reference photos help us match materials and finishes.
Do you make Lottie animations for websites and apps?
Yes, we design UI and illustration animations in After Effects and export them as Lottie files, or build interactive ones in Rive, so developers ship lightweight vector animation instead of video. Not every After Effects feature translates to Lottie, so we test files on your target platforms before handoff.
Do animated ads work on Meta and TikTok?
Yes, especially for software and products that are hard to film, as long as the first three seconds hook like native content. Motion works best when it shows the product doing something, not a logo reveal. We test animated cutdowns against your live-action and static ads to find where each format earns its place.
Do you write the script and voiceover?
Yes, scripting is part of every project because the message decides everything that follows. We write, you approve, and voiceover is recorded by a professional voice actor or produced with a licensed AI voice. Sound design and music licensing are included.
Will our team be able to edit the animations later?
Yes, if you ask for it in the scope. We deliver motion templates and organized project files your editors can open in After Effects or Premiere Pro, with text and colors set up as easy controls. That keeps future updates in-house and on-brand.
