Overview

What is an AI voice agent?

An AI voice agent is a phone line that answers and makes calls on its own, holding a natural conversation to answer questions, qualify the caller and book appointments. It listens with speech recognition, decides what to say and do with a language model, and replies in a natural voice in real time. Noorscale connects it to your phone number, calendar and CRM. We also set clear rules for disclosure, consent and live transfer to your staff, so callers always reach a person when they need one.

  • If: Leak, flooding, gas or severe painThen: Live transfer to on-call
  • If: Billing, clinical or legal questionThen: Staff call back the same day

Sound familiar?

What problems does an AI voice agent solve?

It solves the three problems teams raise most often on a first call, and each one has a fix.

The problem

  • “We miss calls after hours and lose the job”A caller who reaches voicemail usually rings the next business on the list. By the time someone calls back in the morning, the job has gone.
  • “Our front desk is stuck between the phone and the customer”Peak hours stack calls on top of in-person work. Callers hold, hang up, and the afternoon goes on returning voicemails.
  • “New leads never get a call back”Form fills and portal enquiries sit in an inbox because nobody has time to dial them, and a slow first call hands the deal to whoever rang first.

What changes

  • Every call answeredEvery call is picked up on the first ring, evenings and weekends included, so the job doesn't go to whoever answered first.
  • Bookings while you're closedCallers get a confirmed slot in your calendar and a text confirmation before they hang up.
  • Front desk time backRoutine questions about hours, services and directions get answered without pulling staff away from the person in front of them.
  • Every call logged and summarizedEach call lands in your CRM with a summary and next step, so follow-up never depends on someone's memory.

What's included

What does an AI voice agent include?

An AI voice agent includes six deliverables, each one working material your team can use, not a slide deck.

Scope · AI Voice Agents6 deliverables

  1. 01

Call flows your team signs off

Greeting, questions, booking logic, common objections and transfer points, written in plain English and approved before we build anything.

  2. 02

    Phone, calendar and CRM connections

Your existing number forwarded or a new one, live availability from your calendar, and every call logged to your CRM with a summary and recording.

  3. 03

    Live transfer and handoff rules

Clear triggers, such as an emergency, an upset caller, a billing question or a high-value job, send the call to the right person with a text summary, so the caller never repeats themselves.

  4. 04

    Disclosure, consent and recording rules

The agent says it's an AI assistant, handles recording consent the way your local rules require, and only calls people who've asked to be contacted.

  5. 05

    Test calls before launch

Scripted test calls covering common questions, edge cases, interruptions, background noise and off-topic requests, reviewed with your team before the agent takes a live call.

  6. 06

    Call dashboard and monthly tuning

Transcripts, outcomes, bookings and transfer reasons in one view, with a monthly review of the calls that went wrong and what we changed.

Process

How long does an AI voice agent take?

The work runs in four steps, starting in week 1 and then running as ongoing work. Every step ends with something you can use, so you always know what's landed and what comes next.

Time to first results: Taking calls in 3–5 weeks

  1. Step 01Week 1

    Map the calls you get

We listen to sample calls, list what callers really ask, and agree what the agent answers, books and transfers.

You get: Call flows signed off by your team

  2. Step 02Weeks 2–3

    Build and connect

We build the agent, choose the voice with you, connect your number, calendar and CRM, and write the transfer rules.

You get: Agent connected to your number, calendar and CRM

  3. Step 03Weeks 3–5

    Test, then soft launch

Scripted test calls first, then live calls for one shift, such as after hours, with your team reading every transcript.

You get: Agent taking live calls for one shift

  4. Step 04Ongoing

    Tune and widen coverage

We review failed calls weekly at first, then monthly, and extend the hours the agent covers as results hold.

You get: Monthly call review and wider coverage

Reporting

How will you know an AI voice agent is working?

You'll see it in four numbers on a live dashboard, with a written review every month. Leading indicators come first, then the numbers your finance team cares about.

FAQ

Questions about AI Voice Agents

Something else on your mind? Email grow@noorscale.com and a person will reply within one business day.

How much does an AI voice agent cost?

It's a one-time setup fee plus a monthly fee for hosting, monitoring and tuning. The setup depends on how many call types the agent handles and which systems it connects to. Call minutes and phone numbers are billed at cost, so you pay for the calls you actually get. You'll have a fixed written quote after a free call.

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes, the agent introduces itself as an AI assistant at the start of every call. Disclosure builds trust, and in many places it's required. Callers can ask for a person at any point and get transferred.

Can an AI voice agent book appointments straight into our calendar?

Yes, it checks live availability in tools such as Google Calendar, Outlook, Cal.com or your booking software, then books, confirms by text and logs the call in your CRM. If a slot is taken mid-call, it offers the next one. Buffers, appointment types and staff rules are set in the calendar, not guessed by the agent.

What happens when the agent can't answer a question?

It says so and offers a transfer or a call back, and it never guesses outside the answers you've approved. The caller's details and question land with your team as a task. We review those calls each month and add approved answers where it makes sense.

Can we keep our existing phone number?

Yes, we usually forward your current number to the agent for the hours you choose, such as evenings or when the front desk doesn't pick up within a few rings. You can also run it on a new number for a campaign or a single location.

Does an AI voice agent sound robotic?

Current voice models sound natural, handle interruptions and keep pauses short. We choose the voice with you and test it on real call scenarios before launch. It will still say it's an AI, because callers deserve to know.

Can a voice agent make outbound calls?

Yes, to people who've asked to hear from you, such as new form leads, appointment reminders or quote follow-ups. We set calling hours, consent records and opt-out handling to match the rules where you operate. We don't build cold-calling agents.

Is a voice agent safe for healthcare or other sensitive calls?

Yes, with clear limits. The agent can book, reschedule and answer approved questions about services, hours and payment options, while clinical advice stays with your staff. For health data, we use only vendors that sign the data-protection agreements your rules require and keep call content out of ad and analytics tools.

How long does it take to go live?

Most voice agents take live calls within 3–5 weeks. We start with one shift, such as after hours, and widen coverage once transcripts show the agent handles calls well.
